the first answer answers everything except how to remove the ceramic half of the seal. Does the motor have to be removed or is there a way to remove that part of the seal from inside the tub?
ANSWER Aruggs, Once you remove all the impellers, pressure plate, etc. You will have access to the lower portion of the motor pump housing seal.
You may need to pry it out of the pump housing, and you'll need to be careful, don't damage the housing or shaft. You can do this repair without removing the pump assembly from the dishwasher. We'll send you some additional information that should be helpful.
