I'm getting a loud squeek coming from my dryer. Could this be caused by worn felt seals or is it more likely to be the glides? The noise is not constant. Every 0.5 seconds or so it squeeks. Thanks for any information.

ANSWER Hello Scott. Most of the time it is the glides 137513300, noting that it takes 2 of these and they are sold and shipped in quantities of one. The other part I would scrutinize is the rear drum bearing kit 5303937139. This supports the rear half of the drum and can cause the rear of the drum to droop low enough to actually contact the heating element. Of course until you disassemble the unit it's hard to say whether the felt seals are worn or not. Sure hope this helps you out!
