My dryer keeps shutting down before the cycle is complete. I have to tape the knob down to get it to run. What part should I change?

ANSWER Hello Alianak. If the unit runs with the knob taped down, you will need to replace the motor on the unit. The switch in the motor is bad and causing the issue you are having with the unit.
