Flame comes on a dozen or more times in a row. Then it doesn't ignite a dozen or more times in a row. I can hear the relays pick up when the ignitor comes on and when the gas valve opens. When the gas does not ignite I can hear a faint click (I think from a temperature sensor,)the ignitor glows for a shorter period of time but no relay picks up before the ignitor comes on or when the gas should come on. Any ideas?

ANSWER Jack, If the igniter 5303937186 continues to cycle off and on, then the flame sensor 5303281135 igniter and thermostats are operational. If there is no flame or gas released after a few burner cycles, but the igniter cycles, chances are you have a weak set of gas valve coils 5303931775 or a supply problem from the dryer gas line. Thanks
