I had moter checked and found it's fine. Cycle starts runs for ten minutes then shuts off. When it starts theres a loud humming noise for about one minute then it stops. My question is could it be the outter tub with bearing or the inner tub with spider shaft or the pulley?
ANSWER Hi Mike. Open the door. Carefully see if you can lift up on the inner tub at the top. Is there any play? remove the back cover. Do you see where the pulley has worn into the back of the outer tubs top ? Is the pulley screw part # 134408400 loose? Do you see any drippings from the rear shaft as it exist the tub? Is there any blinking codes at shut down? If so what are they? Is there anything stuck in the pump? See where the humming is directly coming from. It will be advantageous to find the supplied tech sheet inside the cabinet to aid you in the diagnosis. It allows you to put the unit in a diagnostic mode which brings up fault codes and tells you which circuit needs assistance. Thank You.
