I have replaced the level shocks on the washer, one of them was broken. Now the washer will not go into the final spin mode. The door lock light is on. I can not open the door while the tub is agitating. The timer goes through the cycles but the washer will not spin. I can hear the washer try and change to the spin cycle but it continues to agitate and then shuts off when the timer cycles through the final spin cycle. It leaves all the rinse water in the tub. I've reseated both of the connects on the control board but the washer still will not spin. What should I try next?

ANSWER Hi. Remove the lower panel. Use a shop vac to pick up water. Verify the pump impeller is not stuck or spinning loose on the shaft. Remove the debris stuck inside. If the pump is waterlogged it needs replaced. It is pump part # 137108000. This lets the pressure switch part # 134433701 see the water in the tub is gone, allowing it to go into a spin. Do you hear the pump humming wanting to water? Remove the sump hose from the tub to the pump input. Verify that there is no debris ion the tub hole. If there is a debris catch cup in the hose, remove it and clear all debris, coins, pencils... Then make sure the cup top ridge is installed into the hose 3rd ridge from the top for best flow. Also verify the detergent drawer is pushed in all the way so the reed switch part # 131505902 tells the board that it is. Make sure the magnets part # 131373800 on the bottom of the detergent drawer that works with the reed sensor as well. Thank You.
