I want to replace the spring that is on the tentioner pully part #30, how do I get it off and where do I set it in those metal holes when I put it back?
ANSWER Hello Brett! You will use either needle nose pliers, small flat blade screw driver, or a pick tool to release the tension of the spring where it hooks to the arm. To reinstall you will put idler pivot sleeve inside the spring and set it into the arm of the pulley, rehooking the ends of the springs under the pulley arms so it will hold back tension on the belt naturally. By using your tools and be careful so the part doesn't fly out when removing or installing. Hope this information helps you!
