The stem on my starter switch is broken. I was told that I need the whole piece as the stem is not sold seperately. Is this any easy fix to pull the front panel and replace the switch behind it or will it take someone who really knows what they are doing to fix it? The knob itself still has the broken stem attached. Should I just pull it out with some plyers and reuse the knob on the new Part Number: AP3838344 ?
ANSWER Hi Denony. Yes this is a easy repair. Remove the power and remove the controls back cover. Then you remove the front knob and screws that hold it secure to the back side of the controls. You slightly rotate the switch out the back. Switch the wire connector correctly to the new switch. Part # 134398300. Thank You.
