I have a kenmore side-by-side refrigerator model number 253.54629406. The compressor is making a buzzing sound as though its trying to start. Every five to 10 minutes the same procedure occurs. I have replaced the start relay and the capacitor gives a good reading. The compressor also becomes hot from continously running. At one point the compressor started running from initial part replacement and the refrigerator starting cooling itself off from freezer and refrigerator side. The following day the compressor started doing the same procedure as mentioned above and the refrigerator was no longer cold again. Could someone please help me with my problem. Thanks!

ANSWER Hello Resmny. Based on the information you provided, if the relay/overload is new, it sounds like the compressor 5304475102 is bad on the unit and will need to be replaced.
