I am replacing the sump but forgot how the gasket was installed. Does it just lay underneath the lip of the sump sandwiched between the bottom of the sump lip and tub OR does the sump lip slide into a groove in the gasket "fitting it" around the sump lip?

ANSWER Hello James. The gasket is pressed between the tub and the sump housing 154365902. This prevents the sump from leaking. Hope this helps.
