When the control switch is off, the Left Front Element is on all the time. Is the thermostat switch on the element possibly bad?

ANSWER Hello Gfbower. Check for power coming from the switch to the element. If it is there, replace the switch in the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
