Note: This question is for the older version of this part, but we thought you might still find it helpful
My dishwasher will not run the wash cycle. It fills, the light changes to wash and nothing happens, no motor sounds at all, and the water at the bottom of the tub is hot and heating element is hot. After about 10 minutes it drains and starts the process over again. I replaced the control board and it did not resolve the issue. Could the swithch assembly also need replaced? Or do you think it is just a bad pump?
ANSWER Hello Justin. If there is power to the motor, and it does not run, you will need to replace the motor kit 154844301. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
