Changed my baking element. Now it is too hot. It is burning everything. Could my terminal block be bad? If so, which one do I need?
Scott for Model Number fef352fwa
ANSWER Hello Scott, I am not sure what was going on before you changed the bake element 316075104 but the element is really just a load. In other words, if it receives the correct voltage (220V), it will just come on or off with the power it receives from the electronic control or clock 316557114. The clock determines when to turn the bake element on and off based on the information it receives from the oven sensor 316490001. If you have run away temperatures, it could be the sensor or the clock. Did you notice any error codes on the display? If you have a code, check this link to see which part may be at fault.
