Hello my dryer is overheating to hot to the touch in seconds after turning on, but does not shut down. I can see coils going on and off. Is there a thermostat that controls the amount of heat the dryer should put out? Vents are clean. Thanks.
ANSWER Hello Keith. The cycling thermostat 134048800 is the unit that cycles the heater on and off at certain temperatures. It sounds like it may be bad. Hope this helps.
