I bought the igniters from you, fast shipping, thank's. But now I can't get the 3 tiny screws off that hold the burners to the main top cover to replace them. What size are the heads,(5mm?)and is it OK to oil them up with penetrating oil? What is the trick to loosen them, heat?
Mark for Model Number FGF379WECS
ANSWER Mark, Don't use heat, They'll expand and get even tighter. You could try penetrating or peppermint oil, but no guarantees. Most servicers usually drill the screws out, and order the repalcement screws, the screws have a tendency to snap off the head when you try to remove them, A number 1 or 2 phillips head screwdriver would be the tool to use, in either case. Thanks and Good Luck
