My washer machine is not spinning fast enough when they are done. I am ready to replace the motor control board and main control board, but it still doesn't work. Sometimes they spin, sometimes they don't, maybe it's the transmission or what. Please help me out.
ANSWER Hello Nam,
The first thing to remember is that the unit will not go into high speed spin if it is detecting water still in the tub. For this reason, you should check the pressure switch hose for clogs and the pressure switch for proper operation. You should also check the drain pump sump area for debris that will cause a slow drain. If debris is found in there, you need to pay particular attention to the impeller in the drain pump. These will sometimes seperate from the drain pump motor shaft or actually crack so the motor will run but the water doesn't get pumped out.
