Water leaks (sprays) from compression fitting on the water inlet valve at the most-right connector in the first photo above. when I use the door water dispenser and possibly when the ice tray fills. I have tried tightning the nut on the end of the hose, but that didn't help. The hose end looks alright and there doesn't appear to be any cracks in the valve either. How do I determine if it is the hose, connector or valve that is the issue? Which direction does water flow through this ports on this valve? My valve has threads and the hoses have nuts, how do the fittings on the new valve work?
ANSWER Hello Tom. The new valve uses compression fittings. If the hose is good, then you will need to replace the valve. Be sure and run the unit and see if you can determine if the valve is leaking by watching it. Hope this helps.
