the fridge is not making ice cubes or providing cold water, there's water going to the unit and the ice maker works if you hand pour water into slots but will not cycle on it's own, so it's not receiving water when called upon. Is this a valve issue?

ANSWER Hello James, You might check for a blockage at the fill tube but if you don't find anything there it could be the water valve 242252702. Hope this helps!
