I have a Frigidaire Side-by-side Refrigerator-Freezer, Model FRS22ZRGD1. The flow of chilled water from the door dispenser is erratic and stops dispensing water. The ice maker is working fine and produces ice. It appears that the water inlet valve is malfunctioning. I reviewed your product line and videos on how to replace the valve. Very informative and well done. Which of the valve models is the one for the door dispenser? Since the valve for the door dispenser is malfunctioning, should I consider replacing the valve for the ice maker at this time? Thanks!
ANSWER Hello Luis,
The two dual valves are both for water dispense and ice. When one is replaced, it is advisable to replace the other also since one failed part can cause a failure of the other. You should order one 218832401 and one 218658000.
