My washer won't stop filling with water. It overflows.
ANSWER Hello Alberto,
You need to start the machine. While it is filling, unplug it from the electrical power receptacle, (wall outlet). If the water continues to fill the machine, the water valve has failed and will require replacement to restore normal operation. If the water stops coming in, the issue is an electrical/electronic issue in the machine. This is normally the pressure switch, the timer has a set of contacts welded or stuck in the closed position, or a stuck relay on an electronic control board.
