I have to defrost the defrost heater with my blow dryer to get the temp up on the refrigerator side. It freeze up and will not defrost but when I use the hair dryer it start working again so I need to know which part is bad. thanks, Mae

ANSWER Hello Mae, While there are several components in the defrost circuit, the most common failure on this model is the defrost thermostat 5303918214. The next most common failure is the electronic control 241739709

ANSWER Mae, You will want to test the defrost thermostat and defrost heater for continuity. If there is no continuity then replace that part. If there is continuity on both parts then the control board 241739709 is defective and would need to be replaced.
