Washer, GE, Model wzre5260fogg. The motor was smelling hot and was very hot and it wouldn't spin or agaitate. So I put on another motor and it agaitated for a couple of minutes and then the motor hums. I don't know now what to do. Help???? Diane
ANSWER Hello Diane. Either the transmission is bad and is binding the motor or the tub seal is bad and is binding the motor. You will need to check and see which part is bad and needs to be replaced on the unit.
