I have a ge washer model GTWN4250D1WS. The top portion of the agitator does seem to engage and pull cloths down into tube. I fixed this problem on my old machine by replaces the dog ears, but cant find where this can be done on the GE model. Only reference I can find is to replace either the agitator assembly or the coupling. Is there not a way to take the agitator apart and replace dog ears?
ANSWER Hello Ron. No, if the agitator is not working, it sounds like the coupling WH43X10032 will need to be checked out. These do not use dogs.
