My GE washer does not agitate or spin, but it drains just fine. The belt seems to be in good shape. When it is time for it to spin, I hear a noise from the top part of the washer where the timer/cycle dial is located. Any idea what might be wrong?
ANSWER Hello Justin,
This can be the timer WH12X10254, the transmission WH38X10002, or the clutch, (which is made on the motor assembly WH20X10019). The timer is most likely since you hear a noise from the control panel during the failure.
