I Have a GE Model DBXR463GD1WW. I am changing the Dryer Drum Front Support Bearing. Do I need slides or glides or both. Which item numbers and how many of each? Thank you.
ANSWER Hello Tim,
I would recommend to replace the top drum bearing WE3M26 since it holds the glides. This is important enough that I wouldn't replace the glides without it. As far as the glides go, you will need two green WE1M1067 and two white WE1M504. If you want to lubricate them, you need to do this with a dry lubricant such as corn starch or baby powder. Do not use a wet lubricant as i will cause lint to stick to it and don't use graphite as this will work its' way into the load and stain clothes.
