The oven is not preheating to the degree we set (at least it doesn't beep and the preheat light doesn't come on) but it is getting warm. It took about 1/2 hour longer to bake something than it should have. Is the baking element going out or something else causing this?
ANSWER Hello Mike. Check the bake element and see if it glows red. If so, then check the oven temp sensor. It should read 1100 ohms at room temperature. If so, then you will need to order and replace the control in the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
