Hello, My GE dishwasher is not draining. This happened about 6 months ago and I solved the problem by buying a new piston and nut assembly, so I don't think it is that part because of how recently I installed it. To make sure, I closed the piston and nut assembly with a zip tie and re-installed it. The dishwasher will drain when the nut is held closed. What does that mean? There is no blockage in the line and the pump and solenoid seem to be functioning as it will drain when the nut is held closed.
Thanks so much!
ANSWER Hello Eric,
Based on the information it sounds like the body valve and check assembly would need to be replaced. Since piston and nut were replaced not log ago.
