I'm trying to replace the broil element but find that there is a cover over the fan which inhibits the removal of the element. I need to know what tool (maybe a socket wrench) would be use to remove the screws attached. I need to know the bolt size so I can get the correct socket.

ANSWER Hello Nicholas,
The screws that hold the fan cover in place are 1/4" Hex head screws.
