I replaced the broil element but it is still not working right.The grids don't get red hot.

ANSWER Hello Lorraine. You need to check for the proper voltage coming from the control to the broil element. If it is not there, replace the control in the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
