Hey guys still got no fire in the hole. I got the new Igniter today, measured resistance before I put it in the dryer it measured almost the same as the old one around 250 ohms some where along the way someone from your store told me it should be appx. 36 ohms. A friend came over that works on appliances & said the new Igniter was cracked. Can I get another one? (These cracks are really hard to see.) Is the resistance really critical?
ANSWER Hello Del! The ignitor should read a resistance value of 50-500 ohms. If the part received is cracked, please contact our customer service team at 1-877-477-7278 option 2 for a reshipment. You will need your order number and the appliance model and serial number. Thanks!
