I recently installed this pump and motor unit in my Kenmore dishwasher. Now when the unit starts the drain valve does not close and all the water pumps out before the cycle starts. What might the problem be.

ANSWER Hello. Check and make sure you have the solenoid wired properly to close the door. Hope this helps.
