Should the Conduit Carrier Mid have a crack in it (as seen above)? I was told the noise coming from the dishwasher was caused by the Conduit Carrier Mid was rattling, during the wash cycle. My Conduit Carrier Mid looks exactly like the one above, including the crack. Do I need a new one?
ANSWER Hi Joe. The crack looks like it's a manufactured opening to be able to get the manifold tube into it. The carrier clips to bottom of the upper rack. If it wasn't tight, then you might get a clattering noise. We would like to sell you a part, but we need you to physically check if all your wash arms are tight, racks, rack clips and water manifolds are tight. Usually something is loose in the rack hanging out ,clanging against the wash arm. Thank you.
