My ice auger motor isn't working. At first I thought the motor might be bad since the unit makes ice, dispenses water, and the crushed/cubed ice solenoid is working. After testing with a multimeter it confirmed the motor isn't getting power. Is there a fuse panel that I can check or is it more likely a control board problem? Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
ANSWER Hello Joe,
You will want to test the circuit board to check to make sure that when the dispenser lever is depressed for the ice that there is voltage through the control board to the motor. You will want to access wiring diagram to find out what connector to check for the auger motor on the circuit board.
