Came home today and found all the food in the freezer thawed out and the frigerator side warm. After unplugging the unit and plugging it back in, the compressor and fans all came back on and it worked great for a day. Then it happened again. It almost seems like it doesn't come back on after defrost. What would cause this?

ANSWER Hello Phillip, It is a possibility that the defrost timer WR9X489 is sticking and when you unplug the unit and plug back in the it causes the timer to restart. You may also check your condenser fan motor WR60X187 to make sure that it is operational. If it stops working then your compressor will overheat and shut down.
