Single unit gas wall oven. Oven has a history of burning (lower) bake ignitor connecting wire into about two inches from ignitor. Last time this happened replaced ignitor part. Oven and ignitor will not come on. If you jumper across control valve ignitor will lite up. Top part of oven (broiler) seems to work just fine. Clock, light, display, and inputs are working ok....I think. Thanks

ANSWER Hello Malcolm, You will want to check the oven safety valve for an open or closed circuit with unit unplugged and harness off valve. If you have an open circuit then the safety valve WB20X126 is bad.
