The high voltage diode has zero continuity in either direction so I assume it is open. Correct? Everything else works but no heat.
Thanks, Roger A.
ANSWER Hello Roger. A diode does not read continuity, it reads resistance and should only read in one direction. If the resistance is there and only one way, the diode is good. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
