These clips fall off easily. Would there be a problem with tie-wrapping them to the rack as long as there were clearance for the wheel to spin freely?

ANSWER Hi Fooby. The clips should hold to the rack normally. The outer finger tabs should hold indefinately. However It is possible to use a "temperature " rated tie wrap as ling it is trimmed and not interfering with the wheel as you mentioned. The roller stud part # is WD12X10277. Thank you.
