When you open the door, on the left hand side of the dishwasher where the water comes out, there is a cap or something missing on my dishwasher. When I wash dishes the detergent isn't dispensing. Please help.

First, I need you to double check the model number as the one here isn't valid. Next, is the unit actually filling with water? Normally if the detergent isn't dispensing, the unit either isn't getting water or it isn't circulating the water. Check and see if the missing cap is stuck under the float for the float switch.
