My wheels keep breaking. Actually it may be the axles that are breaking. Do I need to just replace the axle. The wheels appear to be okay. It looks like the axle that you have in stock is not the same as the one on my dishwasher. Have the axles been updated? My dishwasher is 8 years old and the axles break easily. Do the new replacement axles work well and last longer? Or would it be wise to order both new wheels and axles as my wheels may not be the same?

ANSWER Hello Bob! If the axles are staying attached to the rollers and only falling from the rack I would suggest replacing the axles only. Inspect the rollers to ensure they are not becoming defective, if they are replace the part. The lower rack axle is part number WD12X10277 and the roller is part number WD12X10136. The lower rack axles are manufactured replacements and may look different than the original axles currently on your unit now. The upper rack axle is part number WD12X10141 and the roller is part number [AP3741162, these are original parts. Thanks!
