Is the ice dispenser switch easy to replace? What should I order? The exterior pad is not responsive when I place a glass in it to recieve ice. The motor works intermittently.
To replace the switch you would remove the cover to the dispenser on the inside of the freezer door. There are no other parts that should be required. Once you have the access door off, move insulation out of the way and the dispenser switch is where the plunger comes through the door.
