On my model TPX24ppba-bb, when dispensing water, once the touch pad is released the water line continues to release water at a moderate drip rate. What needs to be replaced and is it a difficult ? Stan

Stan for Model Number TPX24ppba-bb

ANSWER Hello Stan, This can be caused by a bad water inlet valve WR49X10043, low water pressure, or air in the line. First, if it's been a while since the water filter has been changed, I would change the filter. Then I would remove the water line from the back of the unit and check the water pressure there. If it's low, it could be that the water line originates from a self tapping saddle valve. If this is the case, you need to slide the saddle valve over a bit and drill the pierced hole out to a full 1/4 inch hole.
