For the second time in less than two months, the water will automatically start dispensing without even touching the switch or pressing the dispense button creating a mess. Thank God somebody was home when this had happened otherwise who knows how long it would have run for. It still created a mess in the kitchen until the water supply was shut. I turned the water supply back on and it seems to be functioning ok but I'm nervous that this will happen again. I already replaced the solenoid in the back where the water line comes in but I'm now beginning to think that it is the dispensing switch but would like to know for sure before purchasing. Any idea?

Christopher for Model Number TFX20JR

ANSWER Christopher, are you sure there is not a water pressure issue on the water supply, or that your not attached to a reverse osmosis filter sytem ? low or fluctuating water pressure can cause a fill valve solenoid to open. The next check is the wire harness at the door hinge, check and make sure there are no loose connections and chafing on the wires. Then replace the actuator switch WR23X366. Thanks
