My refrigerator is a 2002 GE, stainless side-by-side.
I purchased the part "wr49x10173" for my water dispenser, as it was freezing up more regularly. The instructions say to clamp the wires to wire #2 and #6 (red and black/white). However, I don't know how to determine which is 2 and 6. The wire diagram in the instructions doesn't appear the same was as in my fridge. I can't really make out any numbers on the wires, and the inputs on the dispenser control panel motherboard don't have corresponding numbers. Any ideas?
Thanks.
Mario for Model Number GE ??
ANSWER Hello Mario,
The wire to connect too would be red wire and white wire.
