My freezer door has a frozen water line, as well as a slow leak from the bottom edge of the water dispenser. The GE customer service first advised to unplug the unit for two days and see if the problem clears up. Unfortunately, the water line was fine for one day and the problem reoccurred. They now said the entire door might needs to be replaced. Do you have any other alternative besides replacing the entire door. (I have already spent $400 for a part that regulated cold air between freezer and refrigerator since everything in the refrigerator was frozen a year ago).
Thank you in advance for you assistance.
ANSWER Hello Rosalind. Make sure the temperature in the freezer is around 0°. If it is to cold, it will cause the issue with the water line.
