Does the door gasket go completely around the grooved area and meets itself at the bottom of the door?

ANSWER Hello! The door gasket WD8X229 will go around the top and sides of the door and end at the sides at towards the bottom. It does not install on the bottom of the door. The bottom of the door completes the rest of the seal needed to keep water in, etc. Hope this helps!
