My refrigeragtor smells real bad when its operating. We took everything out and cleaned it with amonia and water, put all stuff back in and it still smells. I only have milk in it right now, what do you think is the problem?
ANSWER Ken, If the odor is inside the fridge, you want to re wash everything with hot, soapy water, and use hot water with lots of "baking soda" mixxed in as a rinse. If the majority of odor seems to be when the compressor is running, you want to move the fridge out, unplug the power cord, and remove the lower access panel from the back of the unit. Again, you want to wash everything with hot soapy water, especially the defrost drain pan, allow everything to dry out, and drop a tablespoon of chlorine bleach into the drain pan, and reverse the peocedure. Good Luck and Thanks
