I have this GE washer for 8 years, since last year I started having trouble to wash the comforter. The washer could not fill the water up to the large load and the water kept running. After that I tried to washed I got all the dirty in the bottom of the tub at the end of the cycle. If I washed the small load, I was fine. If I try the bigger load I have the loud noise , so what do I have to fix or change so I can wash the big load? And thank you for your help!
If the unit is not filling to the proper levels then it issue would most likely be caused by a bad pressure switch. The pressure switch is what regulates the amount of water coming into the unit. Check the pressure hose to make sure that it is not clogged and if it checks ok then the pressure switch or water level switch would be faulty.
