I recently bought a used cloth washer. It is missing the water drain hose. I wanted to check if the washer is working or not. I plugged the electic cable and tried to turn the washer on. I did not attached the water hose. It only runs on spin. Does it means that the washer is not working or it wont work until it maintains the required water level. I am affraid that the washer is broken or have defects. Please help. Thanks

ANSWER Hello Tarig,
The only way that the washer will agitate is if it senses the water level being correct. You can pull the hose for the pressure switch off the tub and blow gently into it so that it will mock water fill to see if it agitates.
