My drier part is covered in ice and the wine cooler doesn't get cold. What does this mean. How do I know if this is the only part that needs replaced or do I need more parts. Cooler is at least 8 years old. Is it worth replacement parts or should I dump it? Also I noticed large black enclosed moter next to it seemd very hot.

ANSWER Hello Melissa,
Based on the information, it sounds like you have a sealed system restiction. This would require evacuation of refrigerant in the system and replacing the filter drier and possilby more.
