Very loud, irritating squeeling coming from the dryer, particularly with full loads. Squeeling also occurs with light loads but is less loud. Is it possible that replacing the belt can remedy this? Thanks.

ANSWER Hello Miki,
The squealing is the belt slipping. The noise is caused by the drum putting up opposition to turning. You will either need the rear drum bearing kit WE25M40, the front bearing WE3M26 and glides WE1M504, idler puller WE12X83and, because of the wear on the belt WE12M29 because of the slippage, you might consider changing it, too.
